Hormones produced by the thyroid gland are responsible in regulating bodily processes like digestion and metabolism. In women, thyroid hormones also play a role in their menstrual cycle. However, changes brought about by these hormones usually go unnoticed like changes in energy levels, skin texture, memory and menstrual cycles. Although the menstrual cycle varies from one woman to another, a visit to the doctor won’t hurt if a woman thinks that her menstrual cycle has changed dramatically. Your doctor will most likely prescribe Thyromine. It has been proven to help relieve menstrual cramps.

Is It Really Menopause?

Menstrual cycle problems related to thyroid abnormalities may be mistaken for signs of menopause. Usual signs and symptoms of menopause include short intervals between two cycles, lighter or heavier menstrual flow and absence of periods. However, what if you are not supposed to be on menopause yet? Women considered to be in the menopause stage are those 40 years old and above. What if you’re still on your 20’s or 30’s and you are already experiencing these signs? It could be your thyroid gland; menopause doesn’t have something to do with it all.

Hot Flashes

Hot flashes are normal in women in the menopausal stage but it could also be experienced by women experiencing heavy menstrual problems. It’s a sudden feeling of being “too warm” in a woman’s upper part of the body. She may look like blushing because her face and neck may be extremely flushed. These flashes may last for 30 seconds but can be longer as 5 minutes. Red blotches may be noticeable. In severe cases, it may wake a woman from a sound sleep.

Thyromine

The thyroid gland is the body’s “master regulator”. It regulates your skin, weight, sex drive, appetite and other important bodily processes. Thyromine can greatly help women with menstrual problems related to thyroid imbalances. It does not have any adverse effects because it is made of natural ingredients.
