Lifestyle Changes Can Reverse Erectile Dysfunction

Lifestyle Changes Can Reverse Erectile Dysfunction A new report suggests that men with erectile dysfunction issues can make a significant improvements by simply making lifestyle changes such as reducing weight, increasing quality of nutrition, sleeping better, destressing etc.  http://health.india.com/news/revealed-lifestyle-changes-can-reverse-erectile-dysfunction/ “From a clinical point of view, the inability of some men to perform sexually can also be linked to a range of other health problems many of which can be debilitating or potentially fatal,’ explained professor Gary Wittert from University of Adelaide. The major risk factors for erectile dysfunction are typically physical conditions rather than psychological ones, such as being overweight or obese, a higher level of alcohol intake, having sleeping difficulties or obstructive sleep apnea, and age. ‘Our study found that a large proportion of men were naturally overcoming erectile dysfunction issues. This shows that many of these factors affecting men are modifiable, offering them an opportunity to do something about their condition,’ Wittert commented. Researchers highlighted the incidence of erectile dysfunction and lack of sexual desire among Australian men aged 35-80 years. Over a five-year period, 31 percent of 810 men involved in the study developed some form of erectile dysfunction. ‘Even when medication to help with erectile function is required, it...

Cancer Link To Allergies

Researchers have discovered a potential cancer link to allergies, that could lead to therapies based around antihistamines. Its been discovered that histamine may protect tumours from the immune system.  By blocking the production of histamine in animal models, the researchers were able to interrupt a process that promotes skin cancer growth. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/274310.php “This research is very exciting as it draws a connection between two diseases that aren’t commonly linked: allergy and cancer,” says Conrad. “However, it’s important to realize that this connection is very novel and further research is needed before we know if antihistamines can be used effectively in cancer therapies.” Histamine is produced by mast cells, which are especially numerous in the nose, mouth and blood vessels to help defend against pathogens and aid in wound healing. The researchers found that histamine induces the activation, survival and proliferation of myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), which help promote tumorgrowth by suppressing the immune system. They also discovered that MDSCs tend to migrate toward mast cells, which help traffic the MDSCs to sites of inflammation such as the liver and tumors. The cycle continues as histamine released by mast cells further promotes the survival and proliferation of MDSCs. This occurs in two...

Things That Can Lead To Erectile Dysfunction

Things That Can Lead To Erectile Dysfunction Some things that can lead to erectile dysfunction are well known. Things such as high blood pressure, diabetes or prostate issues have a lot of research behind them which is well documented. However there are certain other lifestyle issues that can also lead to erectile dysfunction issues that affect many millions of Americans and men world wide. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/02/26/erectile-dysfunction_n_4860928.html “A Pantry Packed With Canned Foods Many of the cans holding your tomatoes and beans are lined with a material that contains a chemical called bisphenol-A (BPA), which can interfere with hormone systems by mimicking estrogen in women and inhibiting sex hormones in men. One Chinese study found that men who worked in factories where BPA was present had four times the risk of erectile dysfunction compared to workers who weren’t exposed to the chemical. While more research is needed to understand BPA’s effects on human hormone systems, it’s smart to reduce your exposure. Choose fresh foods over canned ones whenever you can; look for containers, bottles, and toys marked “BPA-free,” and avoid those with the number “7” on the bottom; and don’t put plastic containers in the microwave or dishwasher because the heat can...
